Western Alliance Sets 46-Cent Quarterly Dividend, Payable November 27

Western Alliance Bancorporation, the Phoenix bank holding company, declared a $0.46-per-share quarterly cash dividend on its common stock, according to an 8-K filed Friday. The board also approved a payout on its Series A preferred shares.

Two payouts, two calendars

The common dividend is payable November 27, 2026 to shareholders of record as of November 12, 2026. If you own the stock on November 12, you are in line for the 46 cents.

The board acted by unanimous written consent dated October 30, 2026, the filing says.

The preferred payout is larger per share and later on the calendar: $209.00 per share on the 4.250% Fixed Rate Reset Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock, Series A. It is payable December 30, 2026 to holders of record as of December 15, 2026.

Why $209.00 becomes $0.5225

The preferred stock trades through depositary shares on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol WAL PrA. Each depositary share represents a 1/400th interest in one share of the preferred, so the $209.00 per-share dividend works out to $0.5225 per depositary share, the filing states.

The common stock trades on the same exchange as WAL.

The bank behind the dividend

Western Alliance offers business loans, deposit accounts, treasury management and digital payment services through Western Alliance Bank. It also runs mortgage banking through AmeriHome and digital payments for the class action legal industry, according to its annual report.

As of December 31, 2025, it reported total assets of $92.7 billion and deposits of $77.6 billion at the bank. Its loans were mostly commercial and industrial (48%), residential (25%) and commercial real estate (20%) at that date.

The next dates that matter for holders are November 12, the common record date, and November 27, when the 46 cents is paid.
