SharkNinja CEO Mark Barrocas Trims His Stake With A $25 Million Stock Sale

SharkNinja, which designs and sells household appliances, CEO Mark Barrocas sold $25 million of company stock Friday, trimming about 7% of his reported pre-sale holding. The sale, detailed in an SEC insider-trading filing, came with SN shares up 94% for the year through Thursday's close.

A $349 Million Holding Remains

Barrocas sold 113,156 shares at an average price of $220.93. His reported holding following the trades was 1,565,453 shares, worth approximately $349 million using Friday's closing price of $222.95.

The transactions were open-market sales of shares he held directly. Individual trades took place at prices between $218.00 and $224.41; the average sale price was below SN's $222.95 finish at Friday's close.

The stock's advance extended beyond the current year: through Thursday's close, SharkNinja shares had gained about 151% over the past 12 months. Those gains provide the price backdrop for Barrocas's sale, rather than a measure of the stock's response to it.

Shark And Ninja's Retail Reach

SharkNinja's business spans cleaning appliances, cooking and beverage products, food preparation, beauty and home-environment products. The company sells under the Shark and Ninja brands, while outside suppliers—primarily in China—assemble its products.

Retailers are central to that model. According to its annual report for 2025, Amazon, Costco and Walmart each represented more than 10% of net sales. Together, those customers accounted for 45.7% of sales for the year ended December 31, 2025.

The company worked with over 180 retailers worldwide as of December 31, 2025, and operates in 38 markets. Its United Kingdom business generated $964 million in net sales in 2025.

SharkNinja had approximately 4,143 employees across approximately 13 countries as of December 31, 2025. Barrocas's transaction changes his personal holding in that appliance business: the $25 million represents shares sold by the chief executive, rather than a company stock offering.
