The notice puts the estimated value at $26.1 million and names J.P. Morgan Securities as the broker for the proposed sale.
Mark Barrocas, chief executive officer of SharkNinja, which designs and sells small household appliances, plans to sell 120,000 shares with an estimated aggregate market value of $26.1 million, according to an SEC notice filed Friday.
J.P. Morgan To Handle The Sale
Barrocas listed Friday as the approximate date for the proposed sale and selected J.P. Morgan Securities as the broker. The notice concerns ordinary shares.
The $26.1 million figure is the filer's estimate of the shares' aggregate market value, rather than proceeds from a completed transaction.
A 94% Gain This Year
SharkNinja shares were up 94% this year as of Thursday's close.
The company's Shark and Ninja brands span cleaning, cooking, beverages, food preparation, beauty and home-environment products. SharkNinja uses outside suppliers to assemble its products, primarily in China, rather than manufacturing them itself.
