Lattice CEO Ford Tamer Buys $1 Million Of Company Stock Right After Record Quarter

Lattice Semiconductor CEO Ford Tamer bought about $1 million of his company's stock on the open market Wednesday, 9,790 shares at an average $102.52, an SEC filing shows. The buying follows a record third quarter for Lattice, which designs low-power programmable chips.

Three buys, all through a trust

Tamer made three open-market purchases Wednesday, according to a Form 4, the report insiders file after trading. He bought 2,894 shares at a weighted average of $101.78, 5,696 at $102.71 and 1,200 at $103.40.

Every share was held indirectly, in trust. After the trades Tamer reported 335,467 shares, worth an estimated $34.8 million at the current quote, so the new purchase adds 2.92% to that stake.

No earlier Form 4 purchase by Tamer appears in the 90-day window beginning August 6.

A record quarter first

Lattice reported record third-quarter revenue of $291 million, up 118% from a year earlier. It guided fourth-quarter revenue to a midpoint of $335 million.

On the call, management said it expects 2027 revenue to grow at least 60%, with backlog giving visibility into 2028. Initial production of its security retrofit products begins in the fourth quarter, with broader adoption expected during 2027.

Lattice makes field programmable gate arrays, chips customers configure through software, and it relies on outside partners to manufacture them. Its customers are mainly equipment makers in communications and computing, industrial and automotive, and consumer markets.

Where the stock stands

Shares traded at $103.61 in Wednesday trading, down 2.18%, after closing Tuesday at $105.92. The stock is up 44.0% this year and sits below its 52-week high of $157.01.

Tamer's average purchase price of $102.52 sits below both Tuesday's close and Wednesday's trading price.

Management has said broader adoption of the security retrofit products is expected during 2027, with production beginning in the fourth quarter.
