Richard J Tobin, chairman, president and CEO of Dover, plans to sell 86,440 shares of the company's common stock, a proposed sale with an aggregate market value of $19.0 million. He disclosed the plan in a Form 144, the notice insiders file before selling, on Monday.

Shares from 2019 and 2020 awards

The notice names Merrill Lynch as the broker and gives an approximate sale date of 11/02/2026. A Form 144 covers sales within roughly 90 days of filing.

Tobin received the shares as compensation awards from Dover, in two tranches on 02/15/2019 and 02/14/2020, the filing says.

A stock up 6.4% this year
