Arista CEO Jayshree Ullal's Trusts Sold $21.1 Million Of Stock Under A Plan Set In November 2025
A Form 4 shows three trust accounts sold 96,992 shares on Wednesday, the fourth sale in her five latest filings.
Arista Networks CEO and Chairperson Jayshree Ullal sold 96,992 shares on Wednesday at an average $217.14, a $21.1 million transaction, according to a Form 4, the report insiders file after trading. The filing came Friday, and the sales ran through three trust accounts under a trading plan she adopted on November 14, 2025.
What the Form 4 shows
The shares came from three accounts: 13,860 each from the trusts for Child 1 and Child 2, and 69,272 from a separate trust. Footnotes say the price is a weighted average, with the shares sold at prices from $217.00 to $217.18.
After the sale the filing reports 25,200,349 shares: 9,917 held directly and 25,190,432 through family trusts. The sale equals 0.38% of those holdings, and the holdings were worth about $5.46 billion at Friday's close.
She serves as trustee or co-trustee, but the filing says she does not claim beneficial ownership of the trust shares even though she has a say in how they are voted and invested. It says the sale was made under a Rule 10b5-1 plan, a pre-scheduled trading plan filed with the SEC.
A run of sales since August
This is the fourth sale among her five most recent Form 4 filings, a sample rather than her full history. The others were 460,374 shares at about $212.09 ($97.6 million) on October 6, 62,622 shares at about $211.40 ($13.2 million) on September 25, 13,809 shares at about $191.79 ($2.6 million) on August 25, and 573,509 shares at about $208.13 ($119.4 million) on August 12.
Bloomberg's tally of third-quarter insider selling put her among the top 10 sellers, at $446 million from 2,226,435 shares of Arista stock. Bloomberg said her August sales were made under 10b5-1 plans while the shares were rising, and that she still owns a 2% stake.
Where the stock stands
Arista closed at $216.74 on Friday, up 2.73% on the session and 65.4% higher this year, according to market data. That is within 5% of its 52-week high of $217.41.
Further Form 4 filings will show whether sales under the November 2025 plan continue.
The next Form 4 from Ullal will show whether the plan adopted on November 14, 2025 keeps producing sales after this week's two.
