Venture Global Reports 124 LNG Cargos And A $6.79 Fixed Fee For The Third Quarter
An 8-K gives volumes and the per-unit fee; profit and cash flow wait for the full third quarter report.
Venture Global sold and recognized in revenue 465.8 TBtu of LNG in the quarter ended September 30, 2026, at an implied weighted average fixed liquefaction fee of $6.79 per MMBtu, according to an 8-K filed Wednesday. The company exported 124 cargos in the period.
What the 8-K says
The filing, made under Item 2.02 (results of operations), is an early look at operating metrics ahead of the full earnings report. The company says it may release such figures after a quarter ends while its facilities are in commissioning or operations phases.
Plaquemines accounted for 328.1 TBtu and 87 of the cargos. Calcasieu Pass accounted for 137.7 TBtu and 37 cargos.
Five cargos sold on a delivered basis, totaling 20.4 TBtu, left on owned or chartered vessels during the quarter. Venture Global says their revenue will be recognized in the following quarter, because delivered-basis revenue is generally booked when the LNG arrives at its destination.
What it does not show
Net income, cash flow and other results will come with the third quarter earnings announcement, the company said. The filing gives no date for that report.
Venture Global cautions that volumes and the fee are only a few measures of operating performance and should not be treated as sole indicators of quarterly financial results. The fixed fee also excludes the impact of gas supply basis.
For holders, the filing sets out how much LNG the company recognized and at what fixed fee, but not what the company earned. The filing also says the information is furnished, not "filed," for purposes of Section 18 of the Exchange Act.
Market data showed VG shares at $13.51, up 0.45%, as of 6:15 a.m. ET Wednesday, before the 8-K's contents could be reflected in a full session.
