Samsara CEO Sanjit Biswas Sells $11.3 Million Of Stock, His Fifth Identical-Size Sale Since August
Biswas sold 263,900 shares through family trusts under a pre-scheduled plan, leaving him 1,983,933 shares as reported.
Samsara CEO Sanjit Biswas sold 263,900 shares at an average $42.93, or $11.3 million, in trades from Tuesday through Thursday, an SEC filing shows. It is the fifth sale of exactly that size since August, all through family trusts.
Five sales of 263,900 shares
Four earlier filings, covering sales from August 4 to October 13, each reported 263,900 shares. Together they came to 1,055,600 shares and $41.7 million. Counting the new filing, Biswas has sold 1,319,500 shares for $53.0 million since July 31.
The latest sale was spread across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, in lots at prices from $41.39 to $45.00. The shares sold equal 11.74% of the 2,247,833 he reported before the filing.
After the sales, he holds 1,983,933 shares as reported: 1,356,498 directly and 627,435 indirectly through family and other trusts. At Thursday's close of $41.65, that is about $82.6 million.
A plan set in September 2025
The filing's footnotes say the sales were made under a Rule 10b5-1 plan, a pre-scheduled trading plan filed with the SEC, adopted on September 29, 2025. The trustees of the Biswas Family Trust adopted it, and Jordan Park Trust Company, trustee of two other Biswas trusts, adopted its own plan the same day. Biswas has voting or investment power over the shares in each trust.
The company and the stock
Samsara makes a cloud software platform, plus connected sensors and cameras, that helps organizations with vehicles, equipment and field workers act on data from their physical operations. Subscriptions generated about 98% of revenue in each of the past two fiscal years, according to its annual report for the year ended January 31, 2026.
The stock closed at $43.01 on October 28, up 21.3% year to date from its 2025 year-end close of $35.45.
The repeated 263,900-share size means any further sales under the same plan would show up in later insider filings at that pace.
