Figure's Third-Quarter Loan Volume Hits $5,119 Million, Up 107%, Before Any Kiavi Contribution

Figure Technology Solutions said its consumer loan marketplace handled $5,119 million in volume in the third quarter, up 107% from a year earlier, in an 8-K furnished Tuesday. The figure is preliminary and unaudited, and it leaves out Kiavi, the business Figure closed on September 1.

What the 8-K says

The number sits at the high end of Figure's earlier guidance range of $4.8B - $5.2B, the company said. It compares with $4,259 million in the second quarter, a 20% rise, and $2,469 million in the third quarter of 2025.

September alone came in at $1,783 million. That is up 9% from August's $1,640 million and up 104% from $876 million in September 2025.

The filing is an Item 2.02 report, and the 8-K says the information is furnished, not filed, for securities-law purposes. The release warns that final results, reported in Figure's quarterly filings, might vary.

Other metrics in the release, all end-of-period balances:

  • $YLDS in circulation, Figure's yield-bearing stablecoin, was $504 million, versus $556 million in the second quarter (down 9%) and $21 million a year earlier.
  • Democratized Prime matched offers were $588 million, up from $392 million in the second quarter.
  • Borrower demand on that platform was $600 million, versus $414 million.
  • Available lender supply was $825 million, versus $522 million.

What the numbers leave out

Volume excludes loans originated on the Kiavi platform after the closing. The earlier guidance did not include Kiavi either, so the comparison to guidance is like for like.

About one month of Kiavi volume will appear in Figure's full third-quarter results, due in November. The company also said prior-period volumes will be recast after its next quarterly earnings release.

So the $5,119 million measures the legacy platform only. It is not a read on the enlarged company.

The release defines the volume measure as originations of HELOCs, DSCRs and personal loans on Figure's loan origination system, plus third-party loans traded on Figure Connect.

What to watch

Full third-quarter results arrive in November, with the Kiavi month and the recast of earlier periods. Market data show the stock at $27.35 in Wednesday's 6:16 a.m. ET reading, down 2.11%, with a market value of $6.1 billion.

The November results will show how much one month of Kiavi adds to a quarter that Figure's own platform already put at the top of its range.
