CSL Expects Haemonetics Devices In All Its U.S. Plasma Centers By End Of 2027, 8-K Says

CSL expects to finish rolling out Haemonetics devices and disposables by the end of calendar year 2027, according to an 8-K filed Thursday by Haemonetics. CSL has told the company it anticipates the switch will cover all of its current U.S. plasma collection centers.

What the 8-K says

The filing, under Item 7.01 (Regulation FD disclosure, a way of sharing information with all investors at once), says CSL announced the rollout timeline on October 8. CSL, the plasma collector, told Haemonetics it currently expects the transition to reach every one of its current U.S. collection centers.

Haemonetics hedged the plan. The scope and timing remain subject to change under the supply agreement, and the filing says implementation details are still to be determined by CSL and Haemonetics.

The agreement itself was disclosed in an August 18 filing. It is non-exclusive and lets CSL use Haemonetics' NexSys PCS devices with Persona PLUS technology and buy related disposables in the United States.

What it changes for Haemonetics holders

For now, the numbers do not change. Haemonetics said it is not updating its previously issued fiscal 2027 guidance, which it had raised with first-quarter results. The company's apheresis business also cited the Persona Plus rollout as a growth driver.

The filing's risk language names what could slow the plan: the timing and volume of CSL's purchases, changes to CSL's transition plans, and Haemonetics' ability to make and supply products in step with CSL's rollout.

The company also said it takes on no duty to update its forward-looking statements.

What to watch

Haemonetics expects to quantify the agreement's effect on fiscal 2027 results on its second-quarter earnings call in November 2026.

Until that November call, the only dated commitment is CSL's end-of-2027 target, and the filing itself says the scope and timing can change.
