Arteris Stock Soars 7.85% After Record Revenue And A Raised Full-Year Sales Outlook
Adjusted operating losses narrowed, but losses under standard accounting widened as quarterly revenue rose 48%.
Arteris, which licenses technology that moves data inside complex computer chips, saw its shares soar 7.85% to $17.18 in Friday trading, as of 12:34 PM ET, adding $61 million in market value. The gain followed Thursday's earnings release, which showed record quarterly revenue and a higher full-year revenue outlook.
Record Sales, Diverging Losses
A 48% year-over-year gain put third-quarter sales at $25.8 million. Arteris also reduced its adjusted operating loss to $1.2 million, compared with $3.5 million in the year-earlier quarter.
The standard-accounting result went the other way: its operating loss widened to $11.3 million from $8.7 million a year earlier. The quarter therefore combined record sales and a smaller adjusted loss with a larger loss under standard accounting.
A Rebound After A 34% Slide
Arteris entered Friday after falling 34% over the previous month. Through Thursday's close, the stock had gained 3% for the year, trailing the S&P 500's 8% advance over that same period.
The shares also finished Thursday 67% below their highest closing price of the past year. In Friday trading, as of 12:34 PM ET, Arteris had a market value of $844.43 million and was on pace for its biggest one-day gain since September 21.
Chip Connections And Royalty Projects
Arteris's chip designs connect components such as memory and processors. The company also sells software to automate their assembly, and its 2026 purchase of Cycuity added software for checking chip hardware security.
Customers include semiconductor companies and, increasingly, system makers and equipment manufacturers. Its markets span automotive, communications, consumer electronics, enterprise computing, industrial, and aerospace and defense; revenue comes from licensing, support, maintenance and royalties.
On Thursday's earnings call, management described chiplets—separate components within a chip design—as distinct projects carrying their own royalties. That royalty model sits alongside a business that generated $70.6 million in revenue in 2025.
Arteris had 170 development engineers as of December 31, 2025. The company estimates that more than four billion production chips have used its technology since inception.
