Arrow Electronics Says Enterprise Computing Chief Eric Nowak Will Retire, Identifies Rodney Clark As Successor

Arrow Electronics said in an 8-K filed Thursday that Eric Nowak, president of its global enterprise computing solutions unit, told the company on Monday he will retire at the end of March 2027 after 22 years. The company has identified Rodney Clark as a successor.

What the 8-K says

Nowak will leave the title of President, Global Enterprise Computing Solutions, effective December 31, 2026. His duties will pass to Clark then.

He will stay on as an employee in an advisory role until he retires, to help with the handover.

The filing says Clark's employment is expected to begin November 9, 2026. It describes him as having led large partner ecosystems, revenue organizations and business transformations at Cisco, Johnson Controls, Microsoft and IBM.

The filing words the succession carefully: the company "has identified" Clark as a successor to Nowak. It does not say he has been formally appointed to the role.

Why he is leaving, and the stock

Nowak is retiring for personal reasons, the filing says, and not because of any disagreement with the company on operations, financial statements, policies or practices.

ARW closed at $220.17 at Thursday's close, versus $224.26 at the previous close. The filing was accepted at 4:08 p.m. ET, after that close.

What to watch

The first date is November 9, when Clark is expected to start. Nowak's duties move to him on December 31.

Nowak's unit sits inside Arrow's enterprise computing business. On Tuesday, the company was named NetApp's North America Distributor of the Year for that business, according to a Business Wire release carried by the Financial Times.

Nowak's advisory role runs until his retirement at the end of March 2027, after his unit presidency ends on December 31, 2026.
