Arcutis Lifts 2026 Sales Outlook To $535 Million–$545 Million As Zoryve Revenue Climbs 45%

Arcutis Biotherapeutics, which sells the skin treatment Zoryve, raised its full-year 2026 net product sales guidance to $535 million–$545 million, up from $525 million–$540 million, in its third-quarter results on Wednesday. Zoryve sales grew 45% from a year earlier while spending on a celebrity awareness campaign and a bigger sales force pushed costs sharply higher.

Sales up 45%, costs up faster

Zoryve net product sales reached $143.9 million, against $99.2 million in the third quarter of 2025 and 11% above the second quarter of 2026. The company said the gains came predominantly from higher unit demand, plus modest improvements in gross-to-net deductions, the discounts and rebates taken off list price.

All four product lines grew. Zoryve topical foam 0.3% was the largest at $75.1 million, followed by cream 0.3% at $37.8 million, cream 0.15% at $27.3 million and cream 0.05% at $3.7 million.

Selling, general and administrative expenses rose to $99.6 million from $62.4 million. The company said the increase came from greater marketing spend, mainly for the Skin to Believe In campaign with gymnast Simone Biles, and from higher personnel costs after it expanded its dermatology sales force and launched a primary care and pediatric sales team. The campaign's cost was not broken out.

Net income was $8.8 million, or $0.06 per diluted share, compared with $7.4 million, or $0.06 per diluted share, a year earlier. Operating income was $9.4 million, up from $8.5 million. Operating cash flow was $18.9 million for the quarter, and cash and marketable securities stood at $259.8 million on September 30, against $221.3 million at the end of 2025.

A skin-disease drugmaker widening its reach

Arcutis is a commercial-stage company that develops and sells treatments for skin diseases. Zoryve, a once-daily, steroid-free topical medicine built on roflumilast, is approved in the United States and Canada for plaque psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and seborrheic dermatitis.

"Yet another strong quarter of performance reflects the consistent execution of our corporate strategy," said Frank Watanabe, president and chief executive officer. He pointed to a potential FDA approval of Zoryve cream 0.05% for infants as young as 3 months in the first quarter of 2027.

The company has started a pivotal late-stage trial of Zoryve cream 0.3% in moderate to severe atopic dermatitis. The FDA set a February 23, 2027 target action date for the application to extend cream 0.05% to infants aged 3 to 24 months with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis.

Vitiligo readout due by year-end

Arcutis said it remains on track to report topline results from a mid-stage proof-of-concept study of Zoryve foam 0.3% in vitiligo, along with a decision on advancing the program, by the end of 2026. Results from a similar study in hidradenitis suppurativa are expected in the first quarter of 2027.

The company also named Rob Lisicki chief commercial officer, effective Wednesday.

The vitiligo foam results and the decision on moving that program forward are due by the end of 2026.
