AppLovin CEO Foroughi Gets 128,055 Stock Units, Worth About $29.3 Million At Monday's Close
The grant vests in quarterly installments from February 20, 2027, and leaves him reporting 7,726,231 shares.
AppLovin CEO Arash Adam Foroughi was granted 128,055 restricted stock units on Thursday, an SEC filing made Monday shows. At Monday's close of $228.85 a share, the award was worth an estimated $29.3 million.
How the units pay out
Each unit is a contingent right to one share of Class A common stock. One-quarter vests on February 20, 2027, and another quarter vests on each three-month anniversary after that, provided Foroughi is still a service provider to the company on each date.
The filing lists no per-share price for the grant, so the dollar value above is an estimate at Monday's close. It equals 1.66% of the stake he reported after the award.
A stake held mostly through trusts
After the grant, Foroughi reports 7,726,231 AppLovin shares, worth roughly $1.77 billion at Monday's close. Of those, 2,453,009 are held directly and 5,273,222 indirectly.
The indirect shares sit in three trusts: The JAF Children's Trust, The WHK Trust and The OD Trust. Each benefits his children, and Foroughi says he is not the beneficial owner of the shares in them.
The company behind the grant
AppLovin sells advertising software that uses artificial intelligence to help businesses reach and monetize audiences. Its main product, Axon Ads Manager, matches advertisers with publishers through auctions and accounts for substantially all of its revenue. Advertisers set return goals for campaigns and are charged based on them.
Other products include MAX, which lets app publishers sell ad space in real-time auctions; Adjust, a measurement platform for app marketers; and Wurl, a connected TV platform. As of December 31, 2025, the company had 898 employees in 15 countries.
The first quarter of the units vests on February 20, 2027, converting those units into Class A shares if Foroughi remains a service provider.
