TSMC's September Sales Hit NT$511.86 Billion, Up 54.6% On The Year, Down 0.6% From August
Nine-month revenue reached NT$3,898.73 billion, up 41.1% from the same period of 2025, the chipmaker said in a statement.
TSMC's September revenue came to about NT$511.86 billion, up 54.6% from September 2025 and 0.6% below August, the company said in a statement furnished to the SEC on Form 6-K. The release is dated Thursday.
What the release says
The table in the release puts September net revenue at NT$511,857 million, against NT$514,806 million in August and NT$330,980 million in September 2025. The month-over-month change is a decrease of 0.6 percent.
For January through September 2026, revenue totaled NT$3,898.73 billion, up 41.1 percent from NT$2,762,964 million in the same period of 2025. The company's unrounded table lists the nine-month figure at NT$3,898,726,974 thousand, versus NT$2,762,963,851 thousand a year earlier.
All figures are in New Taiwan dollars, as filed. The company did not give a U.S. dollar equivalent.

The monthly dip is small, while the year-on-year and nine-month figures are both well above 2025. If you own the shares, those are the comparisons the company itself gave.
In Thursday pre-market trading, TSM shares were at $467.30, down 1.04% from Wednesday's close of $472.20, according to market data. Wednesday's session had already closed 2.09% lower, before the revenue report, and the company's market value was $2.45 trillion.
