Nomad Foods Targets 1-3% Yearly Growth Through 2029 And A 4x Bigger Market, Investor Day Deck Says

Nomad Foods set a 2027-2029 plan on Tuesday built on 1-3% annual growth in both top and bottom line, according to its investor day presentation, furnished to the SEC on Form 6-K. The deck pairs that with lower debt and a push into adjacent frozen categories.

What the presentation says

The plan calls for top-line and bottom-line growth of 1-3% a year, measured as a compound annual rate over 2027-2029. It also targets leverage, meaning debt relative to earnings, on a glidepath to 3.4X by 2029.

The deck describes the current dividend yield as 6.5%.

Management says it aims to widen the company's addressable market to €84bn, which the deck calls a 4x larger opportunity. The route is adjacencies such as chicken, meals, potatoes, pizza and ice cream. The company also describes a long-term goal of becoming a €4 billion company.

The deck cites a 38% weighted average value market share across the company's 25 top category-country combinations, based on NIQ and Circana data for the 12 weeks ended June 2026.

The reset behind the plan

The deck frames the plan as a reset. It says strong brands were undermined by culture and execution problems, including margin obsession and short-term thinking. New CEO Dominic Brisby has run the company since January 2026.

Management points to a retail inventory run-down that depressed sell-in revenue, and says an organic growth inflection is now underway.

The company said its CEO, CFO and senior management together have invested $10.5M+ of personal capital, buying nearly 1.0M shares on the open market since May 5, 2025.

The stock and the caveat

Nomad Foods has a market value of $1.5 billion, according to market data, and its U.S.-listed shares closed at $10.69 at Monday's close.

The deck includes preliminary, unaudited third-quarter 2026 estimates and guidance for 2026 and 2027. The company said those preliminary results are subject to completion of its quarter-end and year-end procedures, and may differ materially from final figures.

The preliminary third-quarter estimates and 2026-2027 guidance in the deck are the first numbers that can be checked against final results.
