Nexstar Declares $1.86 Quarterly Dividend, Payable November 27
The broadcaster intends to keep paying quarterly, but its board retains discretion over every future payout, including increases.
Nexstar Media Group, which owns local television stations and produces news, sports and entertainment content, said its board declared a quarterly cash dividend of $1.86 per share on its common stock, according to an 8-K filed Friday. The company said it intends to keep paying regular quarterly dividends for the foreseeable future.
Payment and record dates
Shareholders of record on Friday, November 13, 2026 will receive the dividend, which is payable on Friday, November 27, 2026, the company's press release said.
If you own the stock on the record date, you are in line for the $1.86 payout.
Board keeps the final say
Nexstar said that while it intends to pay regular quarterly cash dividends for the foreseeable future, every later dividend will be reviewed quarterly and declared by the board at its discretion. That discretion explicitly covers future increases.
The next quarterly payout therefore depends on a fresh board decision, as does any raise.
