Envista Says Waste Fell 40% And Water Use 19% In 2025 Sustainability Report

Envista Holdings, which makes dental implants, braces, imaging systems and consumables, said its waste generation fell 40% year over year in 2025, alongside a 19% drop in water consumption. The figures come from its sixth annual sustainability report, announced Tuesday in a press release furnished with an 8-K.

Waste, water and worker safety

The company listed three headline results from the report. Waste generation dropped 40% from the prior year, and water consumption fell 19%, both year over year.

Its lost time injury rate, a measure of workplace injuries that cost employees working days, decreased 17% year over year, the company said.

The report also covers expanding access to dental care, supporting employees and communities, and ethical and governance practices, according to the press release. Envista invites stakeholder feedback by email at sustainability@envistaco.com.

A $2.4 million Smile Project gift

Envista said it donated $2.4 million through the Envista Smile Project, which funds access to care and oral health education. The company said the effort benefited close to 20,000 patients through services, products and charitable support.

The dental brand portfolio

Envista sells dental products under more than 30 brands, including Nobel Biocare, Ormco, DEXIS and Kerr. Its customers include dentists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, dental laboratories and dental service organizations. In 2025 it had sales of $2.7 billion and served professionals in over 130 countries, according to its annual report.

Chairman and CEO Paul Keel called the publication of the sixth annual report a milestone, and said: "We are excited to build our momentum in this area, and we are looking forward to the work to come." He credited "the many teams committed to making a meaningful impact at Envista."

Envista says the 2025 report is the foundation for identifying further improvements across its key sustainability topics.
