Eaton Names Andrea Trabacchin Controller At $485,000 Base Pay; Predecessor Moves To Electrical Finance
Eaton's 8-K says Trabacchin, 48, becomes principal accounting officer Monday, and Adam Wadecki shifts to a non-executive finance role.
Eaton named Andrea Trabacchin, 48, its Senior Vice President and Controller in an 8-K filed Monday, making him the company's principal accounting officer, the executive who signs off on its books. He takes over from Adam Wadecki, who moves to a finance post in the Electrical business.
What the 8-K says
The filing says Trabacchin was appointed on Thursday, with the change effective Monday. Wadecki, the current Senior Vice President and Controller, accepted a new position on Wednesday. He will become Senior Vice President, Finance, Electrical, a non-executive officer role, also effective Monday.
Trabacchin gets an annual base salary of $485,000. His target short-term annual incentive is 60% of base salary, prorated for the months he works in 2026.
Eaton also signed its standard indemnification agreement with him. He will join the same vacation, health, welfare and retirement plans as similarly situated officers.
The filing says he has no family ties to Eaton directors or executive officers. It also says no arrangement or understanding led to his appointment, and that he has no material interest in any transaction with the company that must be reported.
An internal promotion with outside roots
Trabacchin was Eaton's Senior Vice President, Finance, Industrial, from April 2024 to October 2026. Before that he was Vice President of Finance, Mobility Group, from April 2022 to April 2024.
He joined Eaton in April 2022 from CNH Industrial N.V., an agricultural and construction equipment company. There he was Vice President of Finance for the Construction Equipment Segment from August 2020.
What it changes
The filing describes a reshuffle within finance. Wadecki stays at Eaton, and the accounting chief's seat passes to a divisional finance head already on the payroll.
