Adjusted profit per share rose 32% to $7.54, and the company now guides to $27.90 to $28.10 for the full year.
Corpay, the corporate payments company, raised its full-year 2026 outlook after third-quarter revenue grew 18% to $1,381.9 million from $1,172.5 million, the company said Wednesday in an 8-K exhibit. Net income per diluted share rose 45% to $5.66 from $3.91.
Earnings per share and organic growth
On an adjusted basis, profit per diluted share rose 32% to $7.54 from $5.70, and adjusted EBITDA rose 17% to $793.8 million. Organic revenue growth, which strips out fuel prices, currency moves and deals, was 11%.
Chairman and CEO Ron Clarke called the quarter "excellent," saying revenue and adjusted per-share growth were both ahead of the company's expectations. Net income attributable to Corpay rose 36% to $378.4 million.
Share buybacks helped per-share results: diluted shares fell to 66.4 million from 71.1 million a year earlier.
Corporate Payments leads the segments
Corpay sells accounts payable automation, cross-border payments, commercial cards, fuel and toll payments, and lodging bookings, and reports four segments.
Corporate Payments revenue rose 41% as reported to $571.3 million. On a pro forma and macro-adjusted basis, the growth was 18%. CFO Peter Walker said the segment delivered 18% organic growth, with strong results in spend management and cross-border, and a 57.4% EBITDA margin.
Vehicle Payments revenue rose 8% to $579.8 million. Lodging Payments rose 3% to $131.1 million, and Other fell 2% to $99.7 million.
Raised guidance and buybacks
Corpay now expects 2026 revenue of $5.340 billion to $5.360 billion, about 18% growth at the midpoint. It guides adjusted profit to $27.90 to $28.10 per share, growth of 31% at the midpoint.
For the fourth quarter, it expects revenue of about $1.37 billion and adjusted profit of $7.65 per share at the midpoint. Walker said the raise reflects the strong third quarter and improved expectations for the fourth.
Through the end of the third quarter, Corpay has repurchased 5.25 million shares for $1.85 billion, including 1.9 million shares for $747 million in the quarter.
Corpay hosts its earnings call at 5:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
