Central Bancompany Raises Quarterly Dividend To $0.14 A Share From $0.12

Central Bancompany, the Jefferson City, Missouri, bank holding company behind The Central Trust Bank, raised its regular quarterly cash dividend to $0.14 per common share from $0.12 in the prior quarter, it said in an 8-K filed Monday. The board declared the payout Monday.

The new payout and its dates

The $0.14 dividend is payable December 1 to stockholders of record at the close of business on November 20. If you own the stock when trading closes on that record date, the payment is yours.

The company said the new rate equates to $0.56 on an annualized basis. The dividend is labeled the fourth-quarter 2026 shareholder dividend, and the shares trade on the Nasdaq under the symbol CBC.

The company's press release gives no explanation for the increase, and the story the numbers tell is simple: a $0.02 step up per share per quarter.

A $20 billion Missouri bank

Central Bancompany reported approximately $20.2 billion in assets as of September 30, 2026. Its banking subsidiary, The Central Trust Bank, has been serving businesses and customers since 1902, the company said, and serves consumers and businesses in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado and Florida.

The company's annual report for 2025 describes three business lines: consumer banking, which serves about 257,000 households; commercial banking, which serves about 69,000 business entities; and wealth management, which managed $16.0 billion in assets under advice. As of December 31, 2025, it operated 155 full-service branches, held total deposits of $15.9 billion and employed approximately 3,036 people.

The Central Trust Bank is a Missouri state-chartered trust company with banking powers and a Federal Reserve state member bank. Its divisions include Central Trust Company and Central Investment Advisors.

Holders of record on November 20 are due the $0.14 payment on December 1.
