Alkami's Chief Accounting Officer Quits; CFO To Cover The Job From November 3
The 8-K says Prerna Sachdeva's exit involved no disagreement with the company, and Cassandra Hudson will fill in at no extra pay.
Alkami Technology's chief accounting officer, Prerna Sachdeva, submitted her resignation on October 2, according to an 8-K the company disclosed Wednesday. The company said the exit was a personal decision and not the result of any disagreement over its financial results, operations, policies or practices.
What the 8-K says
Sachdeva held two titles: Chief Accounting Officer and principal accounting officer, the executive who signs off on the company's books. The filing, made under Item 5.02, which covers officer departures, says she resigned "to pursue other opportunities."
She has agreed to stay through November 2, 2026, to help hand off her responsibilities.
The company described the resignation as a personal decision. It says it is not the result of any disagreement on matters relating to financial results, operations, policies or practices.
Who takes over
Chief Financial Officer Cassandra Hudson will assume the principal accounting officer role on an interim basis on November 3, 2026, the day after Sachdeva's transition period ends. Alkami is running a search for a permanent replacement.
Hudson will receive no additional compensation for the added duties, the filing says. It also reports no family relationships and no related-person transactions requiring disclosure for her. Her biography is incorporated by reference from the company's proxy statement filed on April 7, 2026.

What to watch
The open item is the permanent hire. The filing gives no timetable for the search, so the next dated marker is November 3, 2026, when Hudson's interim stint begins.
In market data from Wednesday at 9:05 a.m. ET, ALKT shares were at $14.11, down 0.28%.
Until a permanent principal accounting officer is named, Hudson will hold both the CFO and accounting-officer roles, starting November 3, 2026.
