The advance came the session after the company raised its full-year revenue forecast to [$395 million–$405 million](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1867096/000186709626000114/exh991q32026earningsrelease.htm?ref=bullished.co) in Thursday’s earnings release, though the specific catalyst for Friday’s move was not immediately clear. ## A 67% Gain Before Friday Xeris entered Friday with a 67% gain for the year through Thursday’s close, compared with 8% for the S&P 500\. That run included a 29% advance over the previous month. Friday’s move put Xeris on pace for its second gain of 10% or more this month. Its market value stood at $2.63 billion in Friday trading, as of 11:43 AM ET. ## Recorlev Drives The Revenue Growth Recorlev generated more than $71 million in third-quarter revenue, [up 93%](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1867096/000186709626000114/exh991q32026earningsrelease.htm?ref=bullished.co) from a year earlier. Increased patient demand for the Cushing’s syndrome treatment was the principal reason total revenue rose 44% to $107.2 million, the company said. Recorlev is a pill for adults with chronically high cortisol whose surgery was unsuccessful or who cannot undergo surgery. John Shannon, Xeris chairman and chief executive officer, said the expanded commercial team delivered record referrals and new patient starts: “We now see Recorlev on a path to nearly $1 billion in annual net revenue three to four years sooner than previously expected.” The other marketed drugs had mixed results. Gvoke, a ready-to-use glucagon treatment for severe low blood sugar in people with diabetes aged two and older, posted a 14% revenue decline. A one-time $4 million revenue deduction offset Gvoke’s prescription gains. Keveyis revenue rose 9%. The drug treats primary periodic paralysis, a rare inherited muscle disorder. ## Higher Margins And A Thyroid Trial Xeris kept 88% of revenue after product costs, versus 85% a year earlier, primarily because of the mix of products sold. Third-quarter net income reached [$11.3 million](https://finance.yahoo.com/markets/stocks/articles/xeris-ceo-sees-recorlev-nearing-135536454.html?ref=bullished.co), compared with $0.6 million a year earlier; adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization reached $30.8 million, an improvement of $13.3 million. Spending also increased. Research and development expenses rose $3.6 million, or 48%, mainly to support the experimental weekly levothyroxine injection XP-8121 for hypothyroidism. Selling, general and administrative expenses grew $17.6 million, or 38%, largely because of personnel costs supporting commercial operations, including the Recorlev expansion. That longer-term forecast sits alongside the higher full-year 2026 revenue guidance, rather than representing revenue already earned.
