Vanguard Capital Management, an investment adviser in the Vanguard fund family, holds [10,999,044 shares](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0002100119/000210011926001650/xslSCHEDULE%5F13G%5FX01/primary%5Fdoc.xml?ref=bullished.co) of [Revolution Medicines](https://www.bullished.co/tag/rvmd/), or 5.13% of the class, according to a passive ownership disclosure filed Friday. The filing lists September 30, 2026 as the date of the triggering event.

## What Vanguard holds

The position carries sole voting power over [1,849,510 shares](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0002100119/000210011926001650/xslSCHEDULE%5F13G%5FX01/primary%5Fdoc.xml?ref=bullished.co) and no shared voting power. The 5.13% uses the cover-page basis, which counts any warrants, options or convertibles the holder could exercise within 60 days in both the holding and the share base.

## A drugmaker with a new pill

Revolution Medicines, based in Redwood City, California, is a clinical-stage oncology company developing oral drugs for cancers driven by mutations in RAS proteins. Its lead drug, daraxonrasib, won FDA approval on August 26, marketed as Rasonque, for certain patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer. The company's market value was about $40.8 billion, and the stock traded near $189 in Friday trading.

The launch is already changing its field. Wedbush attributed the slowdown to practice disruption rather than direct displacement.
