Trane Technologies Chair and CEO David S Regnery filed a Form 144 on Tuesday giving notice that he plans to sell [48,091 shares](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0001715932/000196922326001065/xsl144X01/primary%5Fdoc.xml?ref=bullished.co) of TT, valued at $23.1 million in aggregate market value. The shares come from a cash exercise of stock options.

## What the Form 144 says

A Form 144 is the notice an insider files before selling restricted or control-person stock. This one lists UBS Financial Services, Inc as the broker and 10/06/2026 as the approximate sale date. Regnery filed as both an officer and a director.

The shares come from options acquired from the issuer on 10/06/2026, and the filing says they were paid for in cash. The form states no per-share sale price, and it does not say how many shares Regnery will hold afterward.
