Sportradar agreed to sell Atrium Sports, the coaching and scouting business of Synergy Sports, to Teamworks Innovations for [US $170 million in cash](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1836470/000110465926114201/tm2626951d1%5Fex99-1.htm?ref=bullished.co), the company said in a release dated Wednesday and furnished to the SEC on Form 6-K. The Swiss company says the sale narrows its focus to betting, gaming and media.

## What the release says

Sportradar said it entered a definitive agreement with Teamworks Innovations, Inc. The company said the price represents an accretive double-digit EBITDA multiple relative to its own market valuation. EBITDA is earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization; "accretive" here is the company's word, and the release gives no multiple figure.

The release says the deal is currently expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.

## What Sportradar keeps

The company will retain certain technology assets, capabilities and revenue that it says underpin its core offerings and are already integrated into its business. These include automated video production cameras, automated graphics solutions, certain computer vision capabilities and competition management products.

CEO Carsten Koerl said the deal "optimizes and streamlines our business as we focus on our core betting, gaming, and media priorities." He added that the proceeds "will further strengthen our balance sheet and support capital allocation priorities."

Koerl described Synergy as a leading team-side analytics platform for baseball and basketball, and said the business moves to an owner focused on serving teams and athletes. He said Sportradar will work with Teamworks on a transition for clients, partners and employees.

Sportradar's U.S.-listed shares closed at $12.18 on Tuesday, up 0.83%, giving the company a market value of $3.6 billion, according to market data. That session ended before Wednesday's announcement, so the price does not reflect the sale.

The next marker is the fourth-quarter 2026 closing target, which depends on customary closing conditions being met.
