[Nurix Therapeutics](https://www.bullished.co/tag/nrix/) reported net income of [$549.8 million, or $4.73 per diluted share](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0001549595/000154959526000048/nrix-20261013xexx991.htm?ref=bullished.co), for the quarter ended August 31, versus a net loss of $86.4 million a year earlier. The results, furnished in an [8-K](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0001549595/000154959526000048/nrix-20261012.htm?ref=bullished.co) with a press release dated Monday, were driven by $653.2 million of license revenue from the Roche collaboration.

## What the results show

Total revenue was [$673.1 million](https://finance.yahoo.com/healthcare/articles/nurix-therapeutics-falls-2-following-205908890.html?ref=bullished.co), compared with $7.9 million in the same quarter a year ago. Besides the Roche license revenue, it included [$10.0 million](https://finance.yahoo.com/healthcare/articles/nurix-therapeutics-falls-2-following-205908890.html?ref=bullished.co) from a development milestone under the Sanofi collaboration.

Research and development spending fell to $79.3 million from $86.1 million, which the company attributed to Roche's cost sharing. General and administrative expense rose to $34.4 million from $13.2 million, which the company tied to one-time consulting and business development costs from the Roche transaction.

Cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities came to $1.1 billion at August 31, up from $592.9 million at November 30, 2025\. The company said that follows the $700 million upfront payment received when the Roche deal closed, and that it gives runway into the second half of 2029\. The upfront payment and the recognized $653.2 million of license revenue are different figures.

## What changes for the lead drug

Under the Roche agreement, Roche bears 60% of development costs for bexobrutideg and Nurix 40%. U.S. profits and losses are shared equally, and Nurix is eligible for tiered royalties on sales outside the U.S.

Nurix dosed the first patient in DAYBreak CLL-306, a Phase 3 trial of about 620 patients with relapsed or refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia. It compares bexobrutideg with pirtobrutinib, with objective response rate and progression-free survival as dual main goals.

The company also began recruiting for a Phase 1b/2 combination study whose initial cohort pairs bexobrutideg with venetoclax. Enrollment continues in DAYBreak CLL-201, a pivotal single-arm Phase 2 trial.

Nurix decided to stop clinical development of NX-2127 (zelebrudomide) as part of what it called a strategic prioritization of its wholly owned oncology portfolio. Patients now on the drug may continue treatment for as long as clinically appropriate.

## Partner income and pipeline

Nurix said it earned $27 million from Gilead, Pfizer and Sanofi collaborations. That included the $10 million Sanofi milestone for the first patient dosed in a STAT6 degrader trial, a $7 million Pfizer milestone and a $10.0 million fee for extending a Gilead research term by two years.

Nurix has earned about $139 million under the Sanofi collaboration and remains eligible for about $455 million more in milestones tied to the STAT6 program. It also advanced its CBL-B inhibitor NX-1607 into Phase 1b expansion cohorts, with the first patient dosed in September 2026.

The next checkpoints are enrollment in DAYBreak CLL-306 and DAYBreak CLL-201, plus the venetoclax combination cohort now recruiting.
