Invesco put its preliminary September 30 assets under management at [$2,537.8 billion](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0000914208/000091420826000353/ivzaumexhibit991-0926.htm?ref=bullished.co), down 0.9% from the prior month-end, according to a press release attached to an [8-K filed Friday](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0000914208/000091420826000353/ivz-20261009.htm?ref=bullished.co). The release's own table, however, lists the September 30 total as $2,357.8 billion, a mismatch the document does not explain.

## What the release says

The text puts month-end assets at $2,537.8 billion, a 0.9% decrease. The table's August 31 figure is $2,562.1 billion, and a 0.9% decline from that level fits the narrative figure, not the table's $2,357.8 billion.

Net long-term outflows were $1.1 billion for the month. Money market funds had net outflows of $5.7 billion.

Unfavorable market returns reduced assets by $16 billion. Currency movements took off another $2.7 billion, partly offset by $0.9 billion of reinvested distributions.

For the quarter through September 30, preliminary average total AUM was $2,510.2 billion. Average active AUM was $1,246.0 billion. The release gives no prior-period comparison for either average.

## The product lines

The QQQ product stood at $498.9 billion on September 30, up from $489.0 billion on August 31, per the table. It was $452.8 billion at the end of July and $490.1 billion at the end of June.

Other lines fell over September in the table. ETFs and index strategies went to $774.6 billion from $783.4 billion. Fundamental fixed income went to $307.9 billion from $314.9 billion, and fundamental equities to $309.1 billion from $317.7 billion.

Private markets slipped to $134.9 billion from $136.6 billion, and the China joint venture to $166.3 billion from $166.7 billion. Multi-asset/other held at $84.5 billion. Global liquidity fell to $261.6 billion from $269.3 billion.

## What it changes

The table's September columns do not sum to the narrative total in any way the release explains. A footnote says all September numbers are preliminary and subject to adjustment, so a correction is possible. If you own the stock, the final figure is the one to check.

The filing was signed by Chief Financial Officer L. Allison Dukes. Invesco shares were quoted at $30.09, down 1.34%, in Friday pre-market trading as of 7:02 a.m. ET.

The release says the September numbers are subject to adjustment, and it does not say which total, $2,537.8 billion or $2,357.8 billion, is the one that may change.
