# Fortune Brands Hands Moen To COO Dave Barry, Hires Peter DuBois As CIO

[Fortune Brands Innovations](https://www.bullished.co/tag/fbin/), which makes faucets, entry doors, decking and locks, is moving Chief Operating Officer Dave Barry to run its Moen business full time, according to an [8-K filed Tuesday](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0001519751/000119312526434380/fbin-20261022.htm?ref=bullished.co). The company also hired Peter DuBois as chief information officer, part of CEO Jesse Singh's push to move shared resources closer to individual businesses.

## Moen gets its own president

Barry, an executive vice president and COO, becomes executive vice president and president of Moen. The company said it made that decision on October 22.

Rachel Roberts, who previously led the Water segment, becomes Moen's chief commercial officer. Singh said the pair bring complementary skills and that focusing "exclusively on Moen and its customers" will help drive operational excellence.

[House of Rohl](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0001519751/000119312526434380/fbin-ex99%5F1.htm?ref=bullished.co), the company's luxury plumbing brand, stays under General Manager Matt Zimmer, who has held the role since June 2026\. He will now report directly to Singh.

## A new CIO from Serta Simmons

DuBois starts November 2 as executive vice president and chief information officer, joining the leadership team and reporting to Singh. Most recently he was chief digital and technology officer of Serta Simmons Bedding.

The company said he has more than 25 years of technology, digital and operations experience in housing and building products. Earlier he was CIO of Mohawk Industries' Flooring business, and he spent nearly two decades in technology roles at Stanley Black & Decker.

John Lee, effective the same day, becomes executive vice president and chief innovation officer, and will focus fully on research and development and Consumer Services.

## Ending the fight for shared resources

Singh described the moves as following recent realignments that put marketing inside each business unit and assigned research and supply chain teams to the businesses they serve. Centralized functions, he said, gave scale but left businesses "competing for resources and attention."

The new model, he said, should let teams "move faster and execute with greater focus."

Fortune Brands sells through three segments: Water (Moen faucets and sinks), Outdoors (Therma-Tru doors, Fiberon decking) and Security (Master Lock, Yale, SentrySafe). Lowe's and The Home Depot each accounted for 11% of 2025 net sales.

DuBois starts as CIO on November 2, the same day Lee takes the chief innovation officer title.
