AGCO said Monday it is [cutting its executive team by one member](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0000880266/000110465926113567/tm2627009d1%5F8k.htm?ref=bullished.co), with Torsten Dehner stepping down as head of global Fendt/Valtra and Product Management and Stefan Caspari taking the job on top of his North American role. The change appears in an 8-K filed Monday, the report public companies file for major events.

## What the 8-K says

Dehner, senior vice president and general manager of global Fendt/Valtra and Product Management, steps down from that role effective Monday. He will stay with AGCO, based in Switzerland, to support the transition.

After his employment ends, Dehner will be entitled to the severance benefits in his employment agreement with AGCO International GmbH dated January 1, 2020, the filing says. That is subject to his continued compliance with the agreement's restrictive covenants.

Caspari, previously senior vice president of Customer Success & North America Ag, becomes senior vice president and general manager of Fendt/Valtra & Product Management, effective immediately, according to the [company's release](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0000880266/000110465926113567/tm2627009d1%5Fex99-1.htm?ref=bullished.co). He will keep leading AGCO's North American ag business.

## Who gets what

The company described the restructuring as one that "simplifies the organization, strengthens accountability and reduces the team by one member." Related duties move to existing leaders rather than to new hires:

- Luis Felli becomes senior vice president and general manager of Massey Ferguson, Parts & Customer Support, adding global Aftersales and Parts and Customer Support.
- Damon Audia becomes president of PTx, Corporate Strategy & Distribution, adding Global Distribution Management.

The release says the changes connect company-wide functions more directly to brand execution, dealer performance and growth priorities.

## The new Fendt/Valtra chief

Caspari joined AGCO in 2014 and has held senior roles in commercial operations, global strategy, smart farming technology and multi-brand governance. Before his most recent post, he oversaw the Grain & Protein business through its transformation and divestiture.

Chairman, President & CEO Eric Hansotia called him "a proven commercial leader with deep experience across farmers, dealers and regional execution." Hansotia also thanked Dehner for "his contributions over many years."

AGCO shares traded at $115.22 in Monday trading, as of 9:31 a.m. ET, about 0.5% above the prior close of $114.61 (market data).

The test is whether one executive can run a global two-brand portfolio and the North American business at once, with Dehner supporting the handover from Switzerland.
